As French fashion brand, Marie Claire  Fashion is forayed into the Indian market, it launched a prêt collection aimed at the 20 to 40 years old women on the 22nd June 2016.

Marie Claire Fashion stepped into the Indian market to add colour and glamour to the lives of Indian women. The apparel industry in India is one of the most flourishing industries among the other industries. The prospective buyers of the brand are a category which is open to experimental fashion which is very pragmatic.

The collection showcased the vivacious ensemble exclusively created by the design team of  Marie Claire Fashion India. The unique and desirable Marie Claire is designed for women around the world seeking a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ that will style their life, all their life.


The French  are always known subtle, yet elegant way of dressing so is the Marie Claire women’s latest collections which are Denim, Floral, Evening and Casual. It is smart, stylish, fresh and a great appetite for life. Marie Claire India has an accurate eye on what will make a woman look good in India. A pinch of freshness, a dash of colour, and a spoon-full of imagination is one single formula Marie Claire India will use it to zing it up for the women of today.

Marie Claire  Fashion would step into the Indian market in partnership with epic brands pvt.ltd. Amiteshwar Grover, Director, Epic Brands Pvt. Ltd. said “We are happy to tie up with Marie Claire as their exclusive licensing partner for marketing and distribution in India. By 2020, we see Marie Claire as top 3 choices among female consumers when they are looking for classy French styling, great quality and perfect fit.”

Marie Claire India will start to operate with ‘Exclusive Brand Outlet’ and ‘Multi Brand Outlet’ from 2017 onwards and will first be available on online fashion portal Myntra.  By 2020 plans include 20 exclusive stores and 200 multi-brand outlets for Marie Claire in India.
“Our retail presence would be well penetrated and significant in next five years. Besides the established retail through e-commerce, multi-brand outlets, and shop in shops, we should have significant exclusive brand outlets of Marie Claire in India, to boost our brand presence” saidStephanie Ertzbischoff, Brand Licensing Director, Marie Claire.
The exclusive launch event of Marie Claire India took place at Privee, Hotel Shangri-La, New Delhi where it showcased its debut collection for the women with ‘je ne sais quoi’. Apart from well-known socialites and faces of the fashion fraternity, the event was graced by former Miss India, Bollywood Actor and Style Diva, Neha Dhupia. The Collection seemed to be promising and looked like it would blend in smoothly with the Indians.
